The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026. On-the-job Training is available. Tools & equipment are provided by the Employer. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: Daily transportation is not applicable. Supervise the training of stingrays according to prescribed standards for show, by the Animal Attendant/Handler. Supervise the general care of marine animals by Assistant Animal Handlers and Animal Attendants/Handlers. Treat animal illnesses or injuries, following experience or instructions of veterinarians. Supervise & provide training for Assistant Animal Handlers and Animal Attendants/Handlers on how to collect/capture, transport, and secure the marine animals. Design, plan, organize, or direct orientation and training programs for employees or customers. Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness and work performance of subordinates. Supervise and evaluate work performance of Assistant Animal Handlers and Animal Attendants/Handlers. Devise training programs to develop executive potential among Assistant Animal Handlers and Animal Attendants/Handlers. Supervise or provide treatment for sick or injured marine animals, or contact veterinarians to secure treatment. Oversee and assist with the dismantle and assembly of docks and holding pens during severe weather or as needed. Supervise the transfer of marine animals between holding pens to facilitate rearrangement of exhibits, especially during severe weather. Continuously monitor environmental conditions to identify potential hazards. Compile and maintain comprehensive daily reference files, including weather reports and task logs, to track accomplishments and support operational planning. Inspect Company buildings, fences, holding pens, supplies, and equipment to determine maintenance needs, if necessary.
